The Hotel

Bora Bora's famous Matira Point is the home of Le Maitai Polynesia, where you will be welcomed in the highest Polynesian tradition of hospitality. From a beautiful white sand beach, you will have a breathtaking view of the emerald lagoon teeming with brightly colored fish, with neighbouring islands Raiatea and Taha'a on the horizon.

The architecture, entirely Polynesian in style, provides a local look that blends naturally into the environment. Signature overwater and beach bungalows hug the shore, and comfortable air-conditioned rooms are nestled in the mountain.

The Rooms

The hotel comes with a variety of accommodations ranging from the air-conditioned rooms (28) to the overwater (10) and beach (7) bungalows - or "fare" in Tahitian.

They all offer similar furnishings (King size bed, IDD phone, TV, shower with hair-dryer, refrigerator, natural ventilation and overhead fans, except air conditioning for the rooms) and are approximately 100ft2 or more, plus terraces.

Le Maitai Polynesia provides value for money, especially on the AC rooms, for accommodations of Polynesian style with services meeting international standards of quality.

Activities

Discover Bora Bora from under the water to the extraordinary vista points around the island and in the hills. Our activities desk will offer you a wide choice of excursions.

On the lagoon and under the water: Circle-island tour on the traditional outrigger canoe,
1/2 day or full day with motu picnic, shark and ray feedings. Jet-ski, windsurf or snorkel at the "Coral Garden", scuba diving and much more...

From the air: Parasail or take a helicopter tour.

Land activities: 4-wheel drive safari tour around the island, bicycle, scooter, car rentals and more...

On arrival, you will enjoy a refreshing fruit punch cocktail at the lobby before you are shown to your room. Our front desk with the activities and excursions department will assist you during your stay and help you discover Bora Bora.

You will find hotel merchandise in our boutique, as well as local black pearl jewelery and many other souvenirs. Also, a separate lounge can be
used during the day to relax or for small banquets.

Restaurants & Bars

Our "Haere Mai" Restaurant (open every day : 6:30 to 10:00 am - 12:00 to 2:30 pm - 6:30 to 9:00 pm) offers buffets, menus or a la carte food with a combination of local tastes and international cuisine, including a French touch.

The "Manuia" Bar is open all day from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. You will find it in the center of the hotel, surrounded by tropical flowers and plants.
