Matangi Private Island Resort is a unique small island resort set on a 240-acre private island, in Fiji’s Northern Group, an hour’s flight from Nadi. This small luxury resort has just 9 beachfront and island bures, plus 3 treehouse bures overlooking the beach and ocean, and 1 villa bure. The Fijian- and Polynesian-style bures are individually unique, featuring ceiling fan, tile floor, spacious sleeping and living areas and private verandah. Matangi’s chefs prepare a variety of cuisine, from traditional Fijian fare to European, American and Pacific Rim favorites.
