Vahine
Island Resort
Discover
and exclusive hideaway resort for only the few privileged guests.
Located in one of the still untouched blue lagoons of French Polynesia.
By design, construction is limited to three over water bungalows on the
lagoon and six beach bungalows (including 3 suites) hidden among coconut
trees, multicolored hibiscus and bougainvillea. The architecture of
local woods and bamboos achieves a complete integration with the
environment.
Only a step away from Tahiti and Bora Bora, three daily
flights with Air Tahiti are available from Tahiti Faaa International
Airport (35 minutes) or from Bora Bora (10 minutes) to the Raiatea
Airport, where we will greet you and bring you by comfortable speedboat
over the lagoon to Vahine Island (25 minutes). As a special treat,
indulge yourself into a helicopter service that will fly you from Bora
Bora or from Raiatea to Vahine Island in less than 10 minutes.
Each
guest receives personal attention from our staff that is available to
meet all your needs and to assist you in the various sports activities:
windsurfing, funboard, sailing, snorkeling... You may also choose among
several excursions including a catamaran cruise to Bora-Bora, scuba
diving, big game fishing, or a jeep safari on nearby Tahaa Island. If
you like to discover by yourself the small islets or "motu" of
the lagoon, we provide a motor canoe with a picnic lunch.
